Engineering Windows 7

If you're interested in the dialog of what the next Windows will be, or are interested in what all has to be considered in designing an Operating System, I've found Engineering Windows 7 to be a really good read. It gives you a bit of respect for the designers as well; read some of the comments on their posts and try to imagine how you'd try to answer everyone's requests simultaneously!

...Though I quickly tired of the comments and just found that getting the updates through Outlook 2007 via RSS is the best way to read it ;-)
